Cártama is located about 20 km. westward Malaga. You can easily get there driving by the Guadalhorce road (A-357). But if you desire you can enjoy the landscape by taking the metropolitan autobus M-131 line. There you can use part of your time doing some tourism in Cártama. The most representative monument is the hermitage of “Nuestra Señora de los Remediosâ€. But you can also visit Chapel of sierra Gibralgalia, Cártama Castle, San Pedro Church, Iron Bridge upon Guadalhorce River, Roman ruins and popular architecture.
